ABOUT FAUSTINE
Faustine is a French soprano of striking versatility and international presence. Recent and forthcoming engagements include Servilla (La Clemenza di Tito) at Opéra de Nice, The Bride (Saariaho’s Innocence) at the Adelaide Opera Festival, Frasquita (Carmen) with Palazetto Bru Zane in Hong Kong and Hanoi, Nane (Gosse de Rich) with Les Frivolités Parisiennes, and Petit Soeur (Le Passion de Simone) at Opéra de Reims. She has also performed at the Chorégies d’Orange three times, the Barbican Centre and Aix-en-Provence Festival with Sir Simon Rattle and the London Symphony Orchestra.
Other highlights include critically acclaimed appearances as Frasquita for Opera de Rouen and Theatre des Champs-Elysees, Soeur Constance (Dialogues des Carmélites) at Theater Aachen and Theater Nordhausen, Serpina (La Serva Padrona) in Siena, and US debuts at Carnegie Hall and Mannes Opera. Faustine trained at Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Mannes College of Music, and has been featured at leading festivals including Ravinia Steans, Caramoor, and Garsington, earning multiple international competition prizes for contemporary and French repertoire.
