Dara Savinova sings Irene in Handel’s Tamerlano for the Internationale Händelfestspiele Göttingen

Estonian mezzo Dara Savinova sings the role Irene in Handel’s Tamerlano in for the Internationale Händelfestspiele Göttingen this Spring.

George Petrou conducts the Festspielorchester Göttingen, and the opera is stage directed by Rosetta Cucchi.

Dara Savinova is already an experienced international singer. She is a graduate of the Zurich Opera Studio, and has gone on to sing on stages such as the Bregenzer Festspiele, Theatre Champs Elysées, Zurich Opera and Royal Swedish Opera. Last year she returned to Stockholm’s opera house as Rosina in Rossini’s evergreen Il Barbiere di Siviglia.
