Matilda Sterby to sing La Contessa for Hannover Staatsoper in the 2021-22 season
Swedish soprano Matilda Sterby will make her German debut in the 21-22 season as La Contessa in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro at Hannover Staatsoper.
Conductor is Giulio Cilona and director is Lydia Steier.
The production is double cast and Matilda’s performance dates are: 23/2, 26/2, 1/3 and 5/3 2022.
Matilda returns to the role of La Contessa, having previously sung it at Läckö Slott, her first production after finishing her studies at the University College of Opera in Stockholm, in the Summer of 2019.
