Meeta Raval sings Cio Cio San for Welsh National Opera this Autumn

The soprano Meeta Raval will sing the role of Cio Cio San in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly for Welsh National Opera on tour in November and December.

Cio Cio San is one of Meeta’s most performed roles, having previously sung it for WNO, English National Opera and Glyndebourne.

The productions is directed by Lindy Hume, conducted by James Southall, and designed by Isabella Bywater.

Meeta Raval can be seen in the title role at the New Theatre, Oxford on 11th November, and at the Venue Cymru in Llandudno on the 30th November and 1st December.
