Mikael Horned sings Achilla in Handel's Giulio Cesare for Unga Operan/Royal Swedish Opera

Baritone Mikael Horned sings the role of Achilla/Father in Handel’s Giulio Cesare this Spring for Royal Swedish Opera in Stockholm.

It is part of their Unga Operan (Young Opera) section, which puts on opera geared to younger audiences in shorter formats on their Rotundan stage.
This version of Julius Caesar is a creative re-visioning of the Handel opera with musical arrangement and new music from Jonas Dominique, and text by Sophie Helsing.

The stage director is Clara Svärd, and musicians from the Royal Opera Orchestra are conducted by Mattias Böhm.
Performances run until 18th May.
