Tessan-Maria Lehmussaari awarded a grant by the Royal Swedish Academy of Music

The soprano Tessan-Maria Lehmussaari has been awarded a scholarship of SEK 60,000 from the Royal Swedish Academy of Music.

The Swedish-Finnish singer, who received the scholarship from the Akademy's Ekström Fund in early December, has clear goals for how she will use the money:

"I am extremely grateful to have received this scholarship. The scholarship will be very helpful in realizing my future visions which are to do concerts with Baroque and early music in focus. The scholarship will definitely support my continued development as a singer."
